The program invites artists of all nationalities to develop their projects and research processes in an environment that fosters collaboration and contemporary thinking. Each residency concludes with an Open Studio, where participants share their work with the public.

Even though we do not offer accommodation, we can help residents to find affordable artists minded accommodations.

Disciplines, work equipment and assistance

Casa R.A.R.O. offers a multidisciplinary space where artists can work in a wide variety of techniques form painting, drawing and collage to performance and video art.

Studio / Workspace

Casa R.A.R.O. is a space for artistic production, research and diffusion of more than 300 m2 located in the heart of the city of Barcelona.

Fees and support

A basic 4 week residency is 750€ For other time options and prices, please check our available open calls.

Expectations towards the artist

A final presentation of the work in an Open Studio format.
