R.A.R.O. Barcelona and Espai Souvenir are happy to introduce In-between, a residency program that invites artists to develop their work across two distinct yet connected spaces in Barcelona. This program is designed for artists interested in expanding their practice through a dynamic process of research, production, exchange, and presentation. Divided into two phases, the residency offers the opportunity to begin a project at Espai Souvenir, located in the Gràcia neighborhood, in a focused studio environment that supports experimentation and the development of new ideas, and to continue it at Casa R.A.R.O., located in El Born, where residents will work alongside other artists in a shared creative setting.

The first phase of the residency takes place at Espai Souvenir, offering participants the chance to immerse themselves in a unique production context while connecting with Barcelona’s artistic and cultural landscape. In the second phase, artists move to Casa R.A.R.O., where they will receive curatorial guidance and ongoing support from the team as they further develop their projects in preparation for an Open Studio.

Throughout the program, residents will engage with a wide range of artistic approaches and production processes, from traditional practices such as painting, sculpture, and printmaking to contemporary forms including installation, video art, new media, and performance.​​
