Margot Cuevas Orteu (Barcelona, 1995) is an art historian from the University of Barcelona and an independent curator. Her line of research and interest is based on corporealities and how the semiotic structures of biopolitics intervene and affect one another.

She has also carried out her PhD initial research at the the University of Barcelona on the phenomenological conception of the body and its articulation in the contemporary artistic practice. Currently, as a curator, she is doing a residency at Tangent Projects within the Affine curatorial program. At the same time, she is carrying out different delocalised projects and takes part of the group of artists and curators FASE-Space for creation and thought.

Her research work is carried out in parallel to her role as cultural manager at the Bombon projects gallery. She previously worked in communication, production and management at the Blueproject Foundation.
