for artists

Ben Zawalich is a visual artist and educator originally from Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He received his BFA in Printmaking at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and his MFA in Painting from Boston University. In 2014 he completed an MA in Printmaking from the Royal College of Art in London. He has exhibited internationally at The Inside Out Museum in Beijing, Art Alive Gallery in New Delhi, India, and with the Bloomberg New Contemporaries at the ICA London and World Museum Liverpool.
From 2017-2020 Ben was the creator and director of the Molten Capital Artist Residency at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Santiago, Chile. Through this program he organized workshops for artists interested in applying to international residencies graduate programs. To date, 19 applications made in the workshop have been accepted, sending artists from Chile, Argentina, and Ecuador into schools such as, The Edinburgh College of Art, The Royal Academy of art in the Hague, UC Davis, Carnegie Mellon, Pratt, Hunter College, and the Royal College of Art. He currently teaches at the Printmaking Majors Section Juniors/ Seniors Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, MA USA.
